hihis! here to blog about my 5 days in HongKong..(this will be a super duper long post)
Day 1(26 May)
Reached the airport Terminal 3 around 6:30am and checked in.
Went in and look see and assembled at B7 before boarding the plane..
Boarded and was allocated to our seats.
Me Shanice and Jamie were seating beside each other.. hahas
The seats had a pillow and blanket..
Felt anxious and ecstatic when the plane finally took off at 8:30am..
There were many shows to watch on board but i watched kungfu dung instead, same as shanice..
Not soon after, the steward and stewardess served us juice and our food..
Had sausages, egg, hashbrowns, some fruits and milktea..
The food is not bad though hahas..
As the flight was 3hours long, me jamie and shanice were like sleeping throughout the rest of the journey.
Reached HongKong airport at around 12, passed the customs, left and went to a shopping centre where we were dismissed for lunch.
Me, shanice and jamie could not find any food to our liking so we went to a 7-11 store and ate cup noodles and bought ice cream to eat.
Assembled together soon and boarded the bus..
Went to a countryside(i think).. Suppose to do CIP thingy there de but because of the rain, we had to do something indoor..
We were asked to cut some flowers that we like and make a bookmark with the flowers.
Apparently, mine was too ugly that i threw it away..
Left the place soon and headed to an Indian restaurant.
The food there was spicy and the only thing that i like much there is the 'nan bread'.
Finished and we finally checked into our hotel..
My roommate is Shanice..
The room is super small and squeezy lah..
Anyways watched television and went to bathe.
Ate cup noodles and chips with shanice and continued watching the television and slept around 11plus..
Day 2(27 May)
Met for breakfast at 8am..
The breakfast was not bad- had 2 eggs, 2 toasts, macaroni with ham and milktea..
And the serving was quite big..
Finished and we went to the Avenue of Stars.
There were many different artists handprints of the ground.
The scenery was amazing and beautiful and we took alot of photos.
Next, went to see the Bauhinia flower which is HongKong's trademark, and Bauhinia means forever lasting..
Anyways headed to Repulse Bay at 10:40..
Reached and walked to a temple..
The temple is beautifully decorated with different statues of buddism/taoist(not sure).
There was also a magnificent view of the sea..
Chatted and looked around..
Left the place and went to the Islamic centre for lunch..
Had rice, lamb meat, corn soup, spinach, brinjour, fish, sweet and sour fish and chicken..
Food was not bad and everyone ate to their fill..
Next we went to Ocean Park!
Went in through the highlands area.
The rides were amazing..
We were having alot of fun with Jamie, Shanice, Valentino, JiSiong, YouZheng and Ryan(who joined us later).
Played the Raging River first..
Shanice and Jamie together. Valentino and JiSiong together. Me and YouZheng together..
The water current was very strong.
The slide was quite steep and it was fun and got ourself wet..
Next, we went to play the SpaceWheel.
JiSiong didnt care to play hahas. Me and jamie together. YouZheng and Valentino and Shanice was alone..
It was very giddy as it kept spinning higher and higher until it hit 180degrees..
It was fun and i was also partly deaf cause jamie was screaming lah..hahas
Next we went to play the Gold Mine.
Shanice and Jamie. Me and YouZheng. Valentino was alone.. Poor JiSiong didnt care to play.. hahas
I love it! It was the best ride there..
It had alot of turns, ups and downs.
Next, we took the cablecar to the lowlands area..
JiSiong was afraid and didnt dare to sit and he had never sat on a cablecar before.
Finally persuaded him.
Jamie, Valentino and JiSiong together. Me, Shanice, YouZheng and Ryan together.
Jamie and the others were like high-ing lah.. They kept shouting to us from their cablecar like mad people and gt noise pollution.. hahas..
Reached and played the games there to win toys..
Jamie, Shanice and Jisiong kept playing and playin to win the toys lah which i think is a waste of money..
Anyways played awhile more and took the cablecar back to the highlands area..
Reached back and we played Raging River and SpaceWheel again before leaving..
Damn sad sia causem didnt get to play the Dragon(roller coaster) which Jolene said is much better than gold mine..
Left and went to eat dinner at the Islamic Centre again..
Ate and went to Lady's Street!
There were a large variety of clothes, bags and accessories..
Didnt buy alot of stuffs as we had limited time..
And we almost lost our way as it was very crowded and everywhere looked the same..
Assmebled together and went back to our hotel..
Bathed, watched tv while eating and went to sleep..
Day 3(28May)
woke up at 8;15am..
Washed up and changed to eat breakfast. had the exact same food as the day before..
finished and went to the ferry terminal and departed off the Macau..
The ferry was shaking quite alot as it was raining but I was kinda sleeping throughout the the journey..
Reached and queued very long to pass the customs as it was packed with alot of people..
Passed and went to MacDonalds to eat.
Ate and went to The Cathedral of Saint Paul..
Apparently, the church was only left abit of it as the church had been burned down thrice. The church was built in 1583..
Next we went to the Maritime Museum and it was just beside the church..
There are alot of things regarding the history of Macau and i took quite a number of photos of it which will be uploaded quite soon..
Next we went to the local delicacy shop there and bought some things before leaving for the ferry terminal..
Reached and was dismissed for dinner at the shopping centre beside the terminal..
Had KFC with Shanice, Jamie, Valentino, Ryan, Jisiong, YouZheng, Darren and a few more which i forgot..
Finished and went back to the hotel which was around 8pm..
Bathed and evryone went to other ppl's room..
Jamie, Jisiong, Darren, Lucas, Valentino, Ryan, Munshi, Benjamin and somemore which i fogt came to me and shanice's room.
Played taiti with 8 people as some didnt want to play.
Played until half and some people came and told us that Mr Wong was doin a spotcheck.. So everyone quickly left and ran back to their rooms which are of different levels of mine.. Jamie stayed cause she didnt dare to return to her room.
Me Shanice and Jamie called the others and found out that MrWong is return from 7-11 lah.. And we were like diao. stupid lah.. wonder which person say he having spotcheck..
anyways me, shanice and jamie went out of the room and saw MrWong and told him to buy food for us.. As the others were returning to our room, they also told MrWong to buy for them..
Poor MrWong had to carry so many things.
Then dunno do wad Mr Wong finally return.. Everyone came to my room to collect their food except JiSiong and I had to specially go to his room and pass him lah and YouZheng was emo-ing lor..
Anyways me and shanice had to send jamie back to her room before returning to our rooms and she was afraid lols..
Ate the cup noodles and went to sleep..
Day4(29 May)
Woke up around 7 and went to eat our breakfast..
As we were goin to visit the school later, so we had to wear our school uniforms..
During breakfast, almost all the girls were busy pinning their fringe as Mr Wong do not allow us to put our fringes down..
Anyways ate and went to the police museum..
It was raining heavily lah and we had to climb stairs too somemore not everyone brought their umbrellas and we had to share and gt ourselves all wet..
The musuem was cool and interesting. It had the different types of police uniforms that the policemen used to wear the different machines that they used to use, many different pictures and inscrptions of the past, and they even showd how they train the dogs..
When the dogs were 2 months old, they will be send to dog keepers to take care of them for 2 years before they are sent back for at least 15weeks of intensive training..
Next we went to the URA galley.. URA means Urban Renewal Authority.
At the gallery, there are many prototypes of large buildings with controls to control the movement.
The buildings there are being built presently and they are now trying to find ways to prevent floods.
Next we had lunch at a Indian Restaurant and we were cam-whoring..
Finished and we went to QESOSASS..
For those who dunno, QESOSASS means Queen Elizabeth School Old Student's Association Secondary School..
Reached and we assembled in a lab.. We were all being divided into 6 groups.. Group1 was to attend a cantonese lesson.. Group 2 to attend a English phonics lesson and group 3 to do dunno was discussion while group4-6 are goin to a tour around the school. Luckily i was in group6 so i was just touring around.. The school is not very big as i expected it to be though.. The hall is much smaller than ours.. The library is much bigger than ours. They have alot of books in their school. And they dun play netball! haiz.. Anyways around 3:40pm everyone gathered together again and each groups were taking to different rooms with the students to interact with each other..
We were chatting merrily with each other..
At around 4;20pm we all assembled together again and took pictures together..
We left the school soon and went to a Chinese restaurant to eat and changed clothes there.
After eating, we were suppose to go to the Night Market but we didnt! OMG lah.. I was deciding to buy things there for everyone but in the end we didnt go.. SO SORRY!!
Finished walking around the expensive shops and we went back to the hotel..
Bathed and went to Jisiong and youzehng's room to slack..
Jamie, evelyn and jolene were alr there when we reached and youzheng was pretending to sleep..
Evan, lucas and darren came soon and evan was like molesting youzheng lah.. hahas. anyways jisiong chased evan, lucas and darren out. They were outside and they kept pressing the doorbell lah which was damn annoying and the others kept prank calling.. Anyways MrWong came too cause we were making alot of noises and MrWong's room was quite close to jisions's room.. But he came and reminded us to be in our rooms by 11pm..
We didnt care and kept on playin until Mrwong came and chase as away..
So we went back to our own rooms..
Reached back and me and shanice watch the television and slept..
Day5(30May) last day :(
woke up at 6:30am and packed and everyone gathered at the lobby with their luggages.
left and boarded the bus to the airport..
On the way they gave us our breakfast..
Reached checked in and we were gathering together to dicuss abt the presentation..
Soon we boarded the plane..
Watched step up2 the streets and ate the food which had hagen das icecream..
Reached singpore, passed the customs and took cab with shanice, jamie and natasha in a Maxis cab which is for 7 ppl but the price is the same.. hahas..
Haiz im starting to miss HongKong and training is gonna start resuming for me shanice and jamie. Haiz boring..
